〜How a Bespoke Pet Embroidery Is Made〜
First, I draw a sketch from the pet's photo. I do this to brainstorm what details are technically and aesthetically suitable for the embroidery's size. Though merely a sketch, it is nonetheless a small full colour watercolour sketch, so it can be enjoyed as a tiny portrait drawing. :)
Next, using the finished sketch as a reference, I draw a rough outline with a Sharpie on a water-soluble embroidery stabilizer.
Stick the stabiliser on the fabric and it's time to start embroidering!
From this point on, I just stitch away, using the original photo and the sketch I drew as references to decide the colour and the number of threads to use.
Voila! So adorable! She is Maru-chan.
He is called Ten-chan! Hello!
